New graduate school KleE

20.12.2010

The post graduate programme „Small scale renewable energy systems“,(abbr. KleE) was granted by the Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Arts (MWK‐BW) as one of eight cooperative graduate schools. Our graduate school intends to create the scientific basis for a comprehensive, decentralized energy supply from different renewable energy sources. This task will be addressed by an interdisciplinary group of scientists from University of Freiburg, University of Applied Sciences Offenburg, Fraunhofer ISE and Fraunhofer IPM: 15 postgraduates will work on this task under the guidance of professors from University of Freiburg, University of Applied Sciences Offenburg and Fraunhofer ISE. The programme is multidisciplinary, the added value lies in the multidisciplinary structure of the programme: the individual works are obliged to justify and arrange in order of the multidiscipinarity and promote the scientific discourse.
